Susan Russell

A life-long Episcopalian, Susan is Senior Associate for Communications, Incorporation & Growth, and Inclusion. She also served as president of Integrity USA, is currently convener of “Claiming the Blessing,”is a member of the HRC (Human Rights Campaign) Religion Council and chairs the Program Group on LGBT Ministry for the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles.

A Los Angeles native she came to All Saints Church in August 2002. Her family includes two grown sons, two dogs and one cat. She is an ENFJ, a second soprano and a second-generation Los Angeles Dodger fan.

Her favorite blessing is one she "inherited" from the former Bishop of Newark, John Shelby Spong.

Holy God, Send us anywhere you would have us go, only go there with us.
Place upon us any burden you desire, only stand by us to sustain us.
Break any tie that binds us, except the tie that binds us to you.
And the blessing of God Almighty, Creating, Redeeming and Sustaining, be with you -- those you love, serve and challenge -- this day and forever.
