AIDS Service Center provides HIV-related services to individuals and families in Los Angeles County. From its simple origins in 1987, to its current leadership position as one of the county’s most comprehensive AIDS Service organizations and a national advocate on HIV issues, AIDS Service
Center provides a continuum of services that accurately reflects the needs of contemporary and emerging populations affected by HIV/AIDS. The Center offers food, housing services, transportation, comprehensive case management, child care, mental health services and advocacy to more than 1,500 clients and their families each year. In addition, AIDS Service Center
reaches 4,000 community members annually with HIV prevention and

Claiming the Blessing is a combined effort of the three leading lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender justice organizations in the Episcopal Church: Integrity, Oasis and Beyond Inclusion. Claiming the Blessing is a partnership working with other justice organizations and individual church leaders to promote wholeness in human relationships. The organization is
commited to obtaining approval of a liturgical blessing, which celebrates the holy love in a faithful sexual relationship, enabling couples in these relationships to see in each other the image of God. Additional information can be found at http://www.claimingtheblessing.org/.

Day One is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing alcohol and other drug related problems in Pasadena and Altadena. Programs offered for youth and parents (some available in Spanish) include Youth Month, Youth Advocate Program, Parenting Awareness Month, Prevention Institute, Leadership Development and Coordinating Council. To join the drug-free youth group or to volunteer, please call Day One.

Ecumenical Council of Pasadena Area Churches (ECPAC) is on the front lines in the fight against poverty in Pasadena. ECPAC is impacting the lives of low-income and poor persons in this city by building relationships among churches to speak for justice and through such ministries as the Cold Weather Shelter and the Friends in Deed House, which distributes food to the hungry in Northwest Pasadena. A partnership of diverse communities, ECPAC is a link to our brothers and sisters in Christ, an opportunity to do volunteer and advocacy work with other persons of faith.

Union Station Foundation is a community-based, nondenominational, nonprofit social service agency serving homeless and low-income families and individuals in the Pasadena and west San Gabriel Valley since 1973. Services include well-balanced and appetizing breakfasts and lunches (free to all who come), special programs for women and families with children, and “Sources,” the Foundation’s career development and job placement program.
