Celebration of Ministries Goes Green!
This year -- in order to be better stewards of both our environment and of our financial resources -- rather than producing a glossy, printed booklet that is quickly out-of-date, the catalogue information is available here as an online document.
This change will not only save some trees, it will allow us to update contact information and ministry changes during the program year, assuring that when you need to connect with any one of the many ministries here at All Saints Church, you will have the most current available information. Additionally, publishing online rather than in booklet form saves $5996 -- money that can be put toward DOING ministry, and that is something to rejoice and be glad in!
Finally, if you are without printer access and would like a "hard copy" of this online catalog of ministries, simply contact Marilyn Coffman at 626.583.2744 or mcoffman@allsaints-pas.org and we'll make sure you get one ASAP.
Welcome to the 2009-2010 Celebration of Ministries!
Making God’s love tangible is the work God calls each and every one of us to do -- and here at All Saints Church we delight in the myriad of opportunities we have to do that work through the ministries represented in the pages of this catalogue.
What will you commit to doing this year? Will you help a child learn to read? Welcome new individuals to our community? Expand your mind and consciousness in book discussions? Equip yourself to share your faith with others? Work to being an end to AIDS, to restore Marriage Equality in California or end the Death Penalty? Prepare the church for worship? Join the choir? Knit a prayer shawl?
Find your passion in these pages and then contact the person listed for that ministry. More information is available in the weekly Saints Alive newsletter -- on the website at www.allsaints-pas.org or at one of the tables on the lawn on Sunday morning.
