CORAL (Communities Organizing Resources to Advance Learning) is a statewide initiative of The James Irvine Foundation, developed in Pasadena by the Office for Creative Connections. The mission of CORAL is to improve the academic achievement of students through their participation in out-of-school programs that provide quality, diverse curriculum and involve families, schools and community partners. CORAL Pasadena is a network of five program sites and the CORAL Innovation Center, a multi-use facility that hosts a youth institute for high school students and programs for local organizations and businesses.
