Children's and Youth Choirs: Music
Our Children’s and Youth Choir program is for any PreK - 12th Grader who is interested in healthy choral singing in the worship environment. These choirs are an important part of our congregation’s worship experience during morning services.
On average, choirs sing once a month during church services (less often for the Minisingers, Mastersingers and Youth Chamber Choir). All choir levels focus on vocal production, choral beauty, music reading, team building, leadership and forming a community.
Choirs participate in various activities throughout the year, such as field trips, singing for special outside events, concerts, evening services, choir tours and choir exchanges. All choristers at all levels have the opportunity to work with professional instrumentalists and singers in the LA area. Some choristers also may share their instrumental talents during worship services. All choirs are non-auditioned and do not require previous musical training.
There is no enrollment fee for pledging families. Pledging families who desire to contribute additional funds toward the youth choir program, in support of scholarships and to help offset program expenses, may do so by contacting Jenny Tisi or the Giving Office. The enrollment fee for non-pledging families is $300 per chorister. Additional siblings in the same family receive a $50 discount. Scholarships are available.

Because of the challenging degree of this music, younger voices in 4th and 5th grade will be monitored throughout the year.
