5:00 p.m. Advent Festival of Lessons and Carols
Coventry Choir offers a rich tapestry of motets, carols and canticles of intense, mystical beauty with music of both traditional and contemporary composers: Foster, Backhouse, Stanford, Archer, Stravinsky and Howells. Bathed in a soft, glowing candlelight, the space is transformed into an intimate, mystical sanctuary. This serene environment deepens our reflection on the music and readings, guiding our minds to a peaceful state and focusing our hearts on the spiritual anticipation of the Nativity.
