The life of an acolyte is one of service. Service to All Saints. Service to the community. Service to God. Sixth through twelfth graders have the unique and exciting opportunity to participate all year long in this wonderful ministry. Acolytes are divided into teams and assist during the church services. Volunteers are also needed as coordinators for each team. This ministry is an opportunity to learn about the Anglican tradition, meet new friends and have fun. Training takes place in early September, and throughout the year for newcomers.

We are committed to treating equally all couples presenting themselves for the rite of Marriage. At All Saints Church we understand Holy Matrimony to be a physical and spiritual union, entered into within the community of faith, by mutual consent of heart, mind and will, and with intent that it be lifelong. Our commitment to the sacrament of marriage being celebrated within the community of faith informs our policy of offering weddings for members of the parish.
Effective June 2, 2009, the Vestry of All Saints Church unanimously passed a marriage resolution stating that All Saints is called to, and will, make the sacrament of marriage equally available to all couples, and that All Saints clergy will not sign civil marriage certificates for any couples, until the right to civil marriage is available to all couples. Read the full resolution here.
Typically, preparation for weddings at All Saints takes from 4 to 6 months, allowing time for scheduling and planning as well as for pre-marital counseling for couples with a member of our clergy staff. For more information or to begin planning your wedding, please contact Stasia Dahlstrom at 626.796.1172 or sdahlstrom@allsaints-pas.org.
