From its simple origins in 1987, to its current leadership position as one of the county’s most comprehensive AIDS Service organizations and a national advocate on HIV issues, AIDS Service Center provides a continuum of services that accurately reflects the needs of contemporary and emerging populations affected by HIV/AIDS. The Center offers food, housing services, transportation, comprehensive case management, child care, mental health services and advocacy to more than 1,500 clients and their families each year. In addition, AIDS Service Center reaches 4,000 community members annually with HIV prevention and education services and offers free and anonymous HIV testing.

EDEN fulfills its commitment to make mindful choices in education, advocacy and celebration of nature through many activities, educational offerings, theological perspectives and political action. EDEN hosts hiking, camping, excursions and field trips. Monthly meetings are held at a member’s home the first Sunday of the month at 5 p.m. for social hour, potluck dinner and meeting.

Volunteers can participate by bringing canned food items, toiletries, socks and T-shirts to the basket on the lawn on Sunday mornings.
FOSTER CARE PROJECT All Saints Church Foster Care Project provides community education, public policy/advocacy and direct services for children and youth who have been removed from the care of their parents to the supervision of the state. The Project recruits and sustains volunteers who serve in public and private agencies or work on special projects designed to enhance the lives of foster, homeless, transitional and incarcerated children and youth. Volunteer opportunities include: volunteering with one of these agencies as a tutor or mentor; taking a foster child shopping for school clothes; collecting food and shopping for Thanksgiving baskets for foster families; becoming a member of the Birthday Club and sending a card and gift to a young person whose birthday would go uncelebrated; joining with local government officials and community agencies in changing ineffective social service systems. The Foster Care Project has representatives from eight ministries: Children, Youth and Families, COLORS, GALAS, Men's Council, Parish Council, Prison Ministry, Transformational Journeys and Women Council and from the community. The Steering Committee meets the third Sunday of each month at 12:45 p.m.

GAIA partners with village-level religious leaders and organizations in rural areas to prevent the spread of HIV and to care for people living with AIDS. They assist communities in developing locally initiated grassroots projects focused on AIDS prevention and care.

OCC identifies local needs and resources and brings people together around issues of common concern. The OCC methodology consists of listening, discerning, reporting and connecting. This process has led to the creation of Young & Healthy, a health care program for uninsured children, and Day One, an advocacy program that addresses problems and policies related to alcohol and other drugs. Both programs are now separately incorporated in the city. Current program areas include: Transformational Journeys Ministry, physical journeys of faith for parishioners, transforming them through challenging encounters with other local and global communities. City Conversations, a series of training/dialogue workshops and roundtable discussions in the city with individuals of diverse backgrounds to recognize, understand and appreciate similarities and differences whether they are in race, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic class, orientation or language. The goal is to move toward action that will have long-term impact in the community. Volunteer to provide individual instruction in elementary level math or English for one hour per week, assist with ESL instruction for parents or donate learning supplies.
