Vestry Decision on the All Saints Building Project
At its meeting on December 1, 2015 the Vestry of All Saints Church voted to place on hold construction plans for the new building project. Accordingly, All Saints will cease both efforts to secure building permits and all expenditures in support of the Master Plan at this time. It further instructed the Capital Campaign to pause from further efforts to raise funds to address our continued space needs while consideration is given to how best to address those needs under current circumstances.
A task force is being formed to forge a path forward. All Saints is a successful church with robust programs of outreach, service, inspiration and fulfillment, and those programs are severely pressed by the lack of adequate meeting and staffing space. The task force will address the deferment of the Master Plan and the still-pressing needs for additional space and suggest a realistic action path forward.
